Mission

Understand it well enough to decide for yourself.

GreenLine exists for one thing: that you understand how money works well enough to make your own decisions. Not ours. Yours.

What this is

A free library of clear, sourced lessons on money and investing. Written slowly, traced back to the record, and given away. No signup, no account, no email address required to read anything here.

Why it exists

There is a kind of account you have seen before. It posts a ticker every morning, a chart every afternoon, and a screenshot of somebody's returns every Friday. The format itself is the problem: a market that changes its mind every morning cannot be understood through a post that changes its mind every morning.

What we can do instead is slower and, in the long run, more useful. We can show you how people who were genuinely good at this lost everything anyway, and what they had in common.

How each piece is made

  • Checked against the record. Every figure comes from a primary source. Where a person is a composite, we say so plainly rather than letting you assume otherwise.
  • Reasoning you can follow. The point is not that you take our word for it. The point is that you can check it and disagree.
  • Published when it is right. Not on a schedule that forces filler.
  • Corrected in the open. When something is wrong, it gets fixed and the page shows an updated date.

What it refuses to do

You will not find a ticker, a sector, an allocation or a recommendation anywhere on this site, and that absence is deliberate. Nobody who has never met you can tell you what belongs in your portfolio, and anybody who tries is either selling something or has confused an audience with a client.

No affiliate links to brokers. No paid placements dressed as analysis. No urgency, and no promise of a shortcut.

What would this cost me if I turn out to be wrong?

Who writes it

GreenLine Finance is an independent publisher of financial education. Research, writing and fact-checking are done in-house. Corrections and source challenges are welcome and get acted on — write to greenlinefinance17@gmail.com.

Not investment advice

Everything GreenLine publishes is educational. Nothing on this site or in any of its books is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell anything. Informativno — nije investicioni savet.
